Nominated by a peer and supported by referees, the recipient will be recognised for outstanding performance, client service, and enduring passion - contributing meaningfully to the advancement of the sector.

The Bizzies – Aotearoa’s Business Events Awards return in 2026 for their second celebration of excellence across New Zealand’s business events sector. Taking place on 28 October 2026 at Te Pae Christchurch Convention Centre, the Bizzies recognise the individuals, partners, and events that are shaping the future of the industry.

Established in 2025, the Bizzies have quickly become the annual platform for acknowledging outstanding achievement,

innovation, and impact across the business events ecosystem. The awards celebrate excellence across three individual categories - Emerging Business Event Professional, Exceptional Business Event Professional, and Outstanding Business Partner - and three event categories - Business Event Legacy Impact, Best Marketing, Excellence in Environmental Sustainability, and Innovation as well as Outstanding Business Partner Award.

Now held annually in major centres across Aotearoa, the Bizzies are more than an awards night. They are a moment to come

together as an industry, elevate collective pride, and recognise the vital role business events play in driving economic growth, fostering collaboration, and delivering meaningful social and environmental outcomes.

Entries will open in May 2026, welcoming organisers, venues, suppliers, agencies, and changemakers from across New Zealand’s business events community.
